AACOG provides information and access to transportation and mobility assistance for veterans through two separate programs. The Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) can assist veterans over the age of 60, while TXServes can assist those veterans who are under 60 years of age.

These programs provide rides to eligible veterans, their dependents and surviving spouses throughout the 13-county AACOG service area, for the purpose of:
  • Medical appointments,
  • Grocery trips,
  • Pharmacy trips,
  • Social events,  and
  • Religious events.
Rides should be scheduled at least 48-hours in advance - please notify the program if you require a vehicle that can accommodate a wheelchair or other mobility aide.
